Linda "Divine Silhouette" Brown liked Talein's blog post Running to Baggage Claim - Why do Christian Carry So Much Junk?First and foremost, Elder Linda M. Brown loves the LORD with all her heart and strives to please Him in all that she does. She is a mother, grandmother, mentor, life coach, teacher and minister of the gospel. You will most likely find Elder B, as she is sometimes called, on the streets sharing the love of Christ. Because of her nurturing and affectionate way of relating to others she has been called MomDukes, Elder B., Momma Linda, and Mom.
Elder Brown is truly a virtuous woman extending her hand to the poor and needy. She serves and transitional coach to women leaving prison and preparing to return to the community. She, along with her two oldest children Donald and Victoria, is a principle owner of Victorious Fashions, LLC. Victorious Fashions, LLC is the parent company to DaMovement Clothin (Atlanta, GA) and Divine Silhouette by Victorious Fashions (New Jersey).
Victorious Fashions, LLC with its entities is a lifestyle company that promotes biblical principles, encourages confidence and integrity, as well as holiness and modesty (humility, disciplined balance) in all things. As president and CEO of the company, Elder Linda strives to practice what she preaches.
Elder Linda enjoys reading, teaching, DIY projects, spending time with family and close friends, sports and music. She is also a student preparing for her license in professional counseling specializing in addictions. A workshop presenter, facilitator and event planner, Elder Linda seeks to fulfill Ephesians 4:11-16 and bring the body of Christ to maturity, equipping them for ministry, and encouraging all those she encounters to "walk by faith and not by sight."
Her personal testimony of drug abuse to rape, low self-esteem, and self victimization has become a catalyst to share God's healing power. "He has no respect of persons. If He can do it for me He can and will do it for anyone." God has proven Himself to be the "Great Physician" and a Psychiatrist. After attempting to commit suicide by taking narcotic pain killers, God revived her in the face of the devil who stood laughing at her. Today Elder Linda encourages women everywhere that they are "fearfully and wonderfully made" and that God meticulously designed them like a fashion designer does a finely crafted dress. No one design is exactly alike.
"We are unique and priceless in His eyes and He has clothed us in beauty, glory, righteousness, strength and honor." (Exodus 28:2, 40; Deut. 32:10; Psalm 132:9; Prov. 31: 25) When we remember who we are in Him, we will walk with dignity and have a swagga that Project Runway and America's Next Top Model would be envious of. So whether you wear stilettos or sneakers you can walk by faith in style.

It's important that we speak the word of God, not our opinions or thoughts, over situations. Here are a few scriptural affirmations to encourage, empower, and edify you.
ContinueI do not allow the worries of this world or the deceitfulness of riches or the lusts of other things to enter into my heart and choke the Word. I am determined to bear much fruit. (Mark 4:19)
My heavenly Father provides me with the measure of faith and I am determined to build my faith by…

How beautiful are thy feet in sandals, O prince's daughter! (Song 7:1a) How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things! (Romans 10:15 also see Isa 52:7)
Beautiful feet begin with proper care. There is nothing like wearing sandals in the summer and have jacked up feet. Investing the time in getting regular pedicures, having visits to the podiatrist, and doing routine home care ensures your feet are healthy. The same holds true with our…

The Shulamite: “Make this promise to me, o women of Jerusalem! If you find my beloved one, tell him that I am sick with love.”
Daughters of Jerusalem: “O woman of rare beauty, what is it about your loved one that brings you to tell us this?
The Shulamite: “My lover is dark and dazzling, better than ten thousand others! His head is the finest gold and his hair is wavy and black. His eyes like doves beside brooks of water; they are set like jewels. His cheeks…
